A few days ago on a hot summer day, I was trying to put together a new knowledgebase system to be used on Toastforums.com and a few of my other websites.
Designing software 'from scratch' requires a lot of thinking, and I am the kind of person who likes to think while drinking coffee. As I was filling my cup once more, my eyes drifted over my notepad - and I stopped.
Hey - this could be something for you as well!
The idea of Toast Knowledge Base was born!
Although I have a lot of ideas for this new script, I would REALLY appreciate your help!

If you don't know what a Knowledge Base is, try searching on Google - or have a look at the Microsoft Support Centre - that's pretty much a knowledge base. Basically, it's a collection of articles, documentation and frequent problems for a companys website.
Since we're developing from scratch, you could be part of the Decision Team, which will have a word in terms of deciding which functions should be included etc.
First of all - I even need to find out if you prefer a ASP or ASP.NET version?

Toast Forums 1.71 has been released today.

The update contains some minor, but important, fixes to the recent 1.7 version, including better integration with the TinyMCE html editor.
Furthermore, the error caused by some search engine spiders (causing a "Missing operator..." error) has been fixed. This error alone has been a major problem over the last few months. Version 1.71 has been running on our support and demo forum for the last week, and has worked perfectly with NO error messages at all!
You should update your existing 1.6x or 1.7 forum as soon as possible to ensure the most secure and bug free forum.

- Added CAPTCHA security image
- Added TinyMCE html editor integration
- Send email to admin when new posts are posted
- Move topic to other forum (for admins and moderators)
